The Photo Booth
It's a simple premise, take your own picture, but provides a huge impact. It's not just about pictures, it's about entertainment. Every event I've ever done the photo booth has been a huge hits (just check out the gallery links above).

I setup a backdrop, a camera on a stand, studio strobes, and a display. Your guests stand in front of the backdrop and use a foot pedal to take the pictures. They pop up instantly on the attached display and everyone can see watch the party unfold.

The photos were born for social media. I provide every guest a link to the website and allow the photos to be downloaded for free from the online gallery. I like to edit every photo and upload everything the next morning, so people can relive the event again.

The History of Photo Boom Boom

I started working on early designs for Photo Boom Boom in 2010. In 2011, I had debuted my concept at my own parties. The concept was a huge hit among my friends. The booth became an invent of its own with people taking pictures throughout the whole night.

I published the pictures to Facebook and the concept blew up from there. Friends of friends wanted to be involved and Photo Boom Boom. I soon booked my first engagement party in July of 2011, a wedding in December, and the Martin Agency's holiday party in January.

Since then I've done events for Richmond Ballet, World Pediatric Project, The Collegiate School, St. Catherine's School, Big River, PadillaCRT, Richmond-MORE, and many weddings. I've shot at The Country Club of Virginia, The Commonwealth Club, King Family Vineyards, The Mill at Fine Creek, and The Eldorado Hotel in Santa Fe, NM.

I've also had the opportunity to speak on the subject of photo booths at The Travel Writer's Life conferences in Miami (2013) and Santa Fe (2014).

I also won best photo booth in Richmond Bride's A- list .

Photo Boom Boom is a passion for me.

I'm constantly tweaking the system to provide the best experience for your guests. I am always on the lookout for interesting props and fabrics for backdrops.
